Lightscribe Knowledge Base Template Playlist Select Your Platform:

How To Import Playlist This article provides a visual guide to importing a playlist into the Lightscribe Template Labeler application. Information on numerous Lightscribe issues visit us at www.Lightscribe.com. The Template Playist is a simple application that requires no installation . Simply double click your Template_Playlist.zip file and extract the files to the folder of your choice.

Next paste a shortcut to your desktop for your convenience ……

Now simply doubleclick on your shortcut….

Once this is done you will be prompted to select your option:

Selecting any of the first two options will prompt you for the target directory Of your playlist. This can be any drive or folder where your tracks or filenames Exist. Please keep in mind that the number of tracks that can Fit on a disc label using the smallest font point 6 is limited and Related to how long your filenames are. Your prompt will look Like this:

Your playlist folder is the location where your target (playlist to import) files exists. The files you wish to import should placed or copied into this folder. Some applications organized ripped music into folders which you can select or combine into a target folder. For information on How to rip CD’s into various file formats using Windows Media Player or Apple Itunes , see the following article: http://www.cnet.com/4520-7899_1-6329586-1.html The article covers music libraries and target directories for ripping in addition to encoding and track details and info. Once you have selected the target folder, click ok. This will search through the folder taking the filenames for each track and importing them into your playlist.

The Template Labeler has now searched through your folder and returned the tracks you’ve burned into the Template Labeler.

If you chose the half disc, it would look something like this:

You may now choose an image for the top half of your label.

If you choose the third option “No Tracks, Just Template Labeler” The template labler starts With it’s default settings like this:
