How to Create a Table 1. Click on the

icon in the top right corner.

2. On the desired Site page (Home is always the default Site Page), select Create New Content or Edit existing content.

3. Give the content a Name and uncheck the Headline Visible box and make sure Placement is set to where you want the table content displayed.

4. In the Text/Multimedia/HTML section, click in the box. The content editor bar will appear and you can select the

icon.

5. The Table properties will appear. Adjust your settings accordingly. Below are the common properties to adjust.

• • •

Rows – This is the number of cells(boxes) horizontally Columns – This is the number of cells vertically Width – This is width of the table measured in px(pixels). Traditionally your Center of Page content is 800px, Banner is 1000px, and Left of the Page is 180px.

• • • •

Cell Spacing – The amount of space around the cells. Measured in px. Cell Padding – The amount of space in the cells. Measured in px. Border Size – If you would like a physical border around your table/cells you would adjust accordingly. Measured in px. Alignment – Where on the content you would like the table to sit. Normally set to Center.

6. When completed, it could look something like the below image. Select Ok.

7. The above table properties will result in a table looking like the image below.

8. Now with the table created, you can fill each cell. Click in the cell you want to edit and add your content (i.e. text, or a photo). You will be able to visually adjust each cell individually (i.e. font size, font type, colour, alignment). Once you are finished, click the Save button at the bottom of the page.

Note: If you add an image to a table, remember to check the size of the image. The size should reflect the size/content of the table. For example, in an 800px table with 2 columns and 1 row – you might add an 600px image in one cell – which leaves you with 200px for text on the other cell.

9. Your table will now display on your Site page.

Note: Tables can be complicated and could take some adjusting to get the right visual look you are aiming to achieve. When editing the table, you can use the right mouse button to adjust image(hover over the image) and table properties.
