8 a.m. – noon, Saturday, May 13, 2017 Holmes Community College The City of Ridgeland is partnering with Keep Ridgeland Beautiful, Madison County and Holmes Community College to host its annual Household Hazardous Waste Day on Saturday, May 13. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone in the community to dispose of unwanted items sitting around the house, for FREE! Shred-It will be on site to shred your personal documents. ECycling will accept electronics. Interstate Battery will recycle your old or used batteries, and Care Environmental will be collecting unwanted paint, household cleaners, pool chemicals, pesticides, gasoline, thinners and other such materials. All you have to do is load up your items and drop them off at Holmes Community College located at 412 W. Ridgeland Avenue anytime from 8 a.m. to noon. We’ll take care of the rest!
