Health Freedom Minute April 28, 2014

Tenth Anniversary of Advancing Computerized Intrusion Ten years ago yesterday, President George W. Bush issued an executive order to set up the Office of the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology to build a national system of linked electronic medical records. Under President Obama the 2009 Recovery Act passed, providing at least $20 billion to install computerized medical records that can report real-time patient data to the federal government. Doctors that don’t install or use the system will get reduced Medicare payments next year. This government system to control doctors and track patients must be undone, and patient consent must be reestablished to prevent government access to private data. “Executive Order: Incentives for the Use of Health Information Technology and Establishing the Position of the National Health Information Technology Coordinator,” President George W. Bush, The White House, April 27, 2004.

Presented daily by Twila Brase, President, Citizens’ Council for Health Freedom. The Health Freedom Minute is now heard in 40 states: Mornings M-Th at AM1280 (The Patriot) in MN and 91.5 AM WHKC (FreedomFM) in OH, afternoons on American Family Radio, and daily on the Bott Radio Network.
