No Celebration Here! Welcome to the Health Freedom Minute. This is Twila Brase, president of Citizensʼ Council for Health Freedom. The U.S. Senate Republican Policy Committee has released a list of Obamacare numbers. For instance: • • • • • • • •
Parents can no longer buy child-only policies in 19 states as a result of Obamacare. 30 states are suing or asking for waivers from the lawʼs requirements. 51 percent of workers will lose their current coverage by 2013, according to the Administration. The IRS wants 1,270 new workers to enforce the law. Individual premiums will increase $2100 under the law. 2.6 million people have been exempted from the law (half of them union workers). 7.4 million seniors have lost their Medicare Advantage plan. Health care dollars are expected to increase by $311 billion dollars.
