Health Freedom Minute December 31, 2012

US Wealth Frittered Away on Foolish Projects As we face the reality that Medicare has a $38 trillion unfunded liability, you may wonder where your tax dollars go. Senator Rand Paul recently wrote in The Wall Street Journal about our frivolous spending. The State Department spent $100,000 to send comedians to India to spread American culture. The National Institutes of Health spent $2.6 million to teach Chinese prostitutes to drink responsibly. And NASA spent nearly $1 million to study the type of food we should serve on Mars. America is one of the wealthiest countries in the world, but our wealth is being frittered away on foolish projects. Who in 2013 will bring us back to fiscal and spending sanity? “The Real Danger From the Fiscal Cliff,” Rand Paul, The Wall Street Journal, November 30, 2012.

Presented daily by Twila Brase, President, Citizens’ Council for Health Freedom. The Health Freedom Minute is now heard in 37 states: Mornings M-Th at AM1280 (The Patriot) in MN and 91.5 AM WHKC (FreedomFM) in OH, afternoons on American Family Radio, and daily on the Bott Radio Network.
