Second C in 4C Solution The second “C” of our “4C” solution for health care is Catastrophic Coverage. This is real insurance, not third party financing for every little medical expense. Itʼs inexpensive, has a really high deductible and is there for disasters only. Itʼs insurance that you buy and never think about or use until you develop cancer, have a major accident or get in a coma. It does not get used for routine and minor expenses. Its only purpose is to insure against a medical condition that threatens your financial security. And you should own it, not your employer. Otherwise, when you get hurt and canʼt work, youʼll lose it. Iʼll discuss our third “C” tomorrow.
