Medicare for All – Private Contracts With Patients This is segment 13 on Medicare for All. Last week I said it would be illegal for a participating physician to take money from a patient for a covered service that Medicare for All has denied. However, any patient in America, including those whose care has been denied, could see and privately pay a non-participating physician for this care—if they can find one. This would be a doctor who has NOT signed an agreement to participate in Medicare for All. No matter what happens with Medicare for All, every physician should work toward setting up an independent practice. Ask yours to join The Wedge of Health Freedom, where patients can easily find them -- at JointheWedge.com “Medicare for All Act of 2019 (Jayapal),” https://jayapal.house.gov/wpcontent/uploads/2019/02/Medicare-for-All-Act-of-2019-Bill-Text.pdf
