M4A – Care Can Be Denied
Welcome to Minute eight on Medicare for All, which promises “comprehensive benefits.” However, the eligible are only entitled to access an eligible provider for a list of “items and services” that are “medically necessary or appropriate for the maintenance of health or for the diagnosis, treatment, or rehabilitation of a health condition.” Sounds good, but you only get an “eligible provider,” which may not be a doctor, and no matter how long the list of services, you won’t get access if someone somewhere decides they’re not medically necessary or appropriate for you. If Medicare for All becomes law, the care you need can be denied. Find a doctor now who’s in your corner. Go to jointhewedge.com.
