Medicare for All – The Promises This is my second day of detailing the Medicare for All Act of 2019. After the bill makes its false claim about being health insurance that protects against costs, it goes on to a short list of promises. Just like Obamacare, the promises are written near the top in large bold letters where everyone can read them. The list includes promises like “universal coverage” and “freedom of choice,” “non-discrimination” and “comprehensive benefits”—and “no cost-sharing.” So most people will believe that everyone’s covered, you can go anywhere, a comprehensive list of benefits are provided, and you don’t have to even pull out your pocketbook. What could possibly be wrong with this? Tune in tomorrow.
