It is home to the Visitor Center, the Mardi Gras Museum, and the Alice Moseley Folk Art and Antique Museum. On display are over 50 of Alice Moseley’s original paintings & collections of vintage bottles, Majolica vases, Depression glass and antique everyday objects. After visiting the Depot, a step-on guide will accompany us on a tour around town, including a visit to St Rose de Lima Catholic Church, noted for its driftwood altar base and the striking mural covering the walls surrounding the altar, which depicts both the Crucifixion and the Resurrection, with Jesus’ flesh as mixed heritage. Following the tour, we’ll have free time in Old Town Bay St Louis for lunch on our own and shopping. From there we’ll go to the INFINITY Science Center, Stennis Space Center's official visitor center and bus staging area for tours of NASA's active test stands and rocket engine test facility.
