Geography Homework #1; week of 8/19-8/23 Due Monday, August 26th This week you will create your own country! First, give your country a name. Next, please draw a map of the county’s shape and location. You do not need to draw the entire world map, only the Hemisphere of the map that shows your country. If you have acquired land from other countries to create your country, please list the countries that border your newly created country. On this map you will label your created country’s hemisphere, continent, and longitude and latitude line on which it is located. If any physical features border your newly formed country please label them as well. Please use color pencils or markers in creating your country. You will write one paragraph describing your country. Your paragraph should be written in first person voice. The paragraph should use four out of your five senses to explain your country. Please write with great detail to describe the setting of your country, so the reader could feel as if they are there.
