Games & Entertainment Systems Network-enabled games and other devices: you'll need to locate the MAC address (Media Access Control address) that was assigned by the manufacturer. Once you have the MAC address, email [email protected] for registration. Note: The ITS department does not provide any support for computer games or other recreational devices beyond registering them on the network. Multicast Devices (Chromecast/AirPlay/Roku) Technologies such as Apple's AirPlay, Google's Chromecast, and Roku use a technique called "multicast" to stream content over a network. The multicast protocal works well over small networks, such as the ones used in homes, but can cause performance issues in larger networks such as those used by Millsaps. To prevent degraded service, ITS network engineers have decided not to enable multicast at this time.
