First Aid Inventory Checklist First Aid kits are kept in a visible but child-inaccessible location in each classroom. Designated staff members conduct monthly inventories of First Aid kits. Created to monitor inventory of First Aid supplies, to ensure availability of supplies if needed to respond to a medical emergency.

Monthly/ongoing as necessary. 1) Check inventory of listed supplies monthly. (Calendar will run from August – July). 2) The HS Teacher will complete the inventory check. 3) The HS Teacher must fill in date, initial the form (3 initials), and check each item of the form each month. 4) HS Teacher will sign at bottom of form once with their 3 initials and printed full name for reference. 5) If supplies are needed, items are purchased and restocked promptly by each center as needed and deemed a medical expense. 6) After last inventory check in May, forward completed record to HSM. HSM July HSM’s yearly classroom files

Procedure: Each teacher should complete a First Aid Inventory each month. Fill in the date, initial the form with three initials, and check each item on the form. Teacher or designated staff members should restock items promptly as needed, and submit Purchase Order or Reimbursement Form to central office. After the last inventory check, at the end of the school year, forward completed record to the Health Services Manager.
