Fire Prevention Week October 9-15, 2016. Although fire prevention is practiced all year round, Fire Prevention Week activities give us an opportunities to share with you vital information about what you can do to make sure you, your family and home are fire safe. The theme for this year's Fire Prevention Week is "Don't Wait - Check the Date! Replace smoke alarms every 10 years." If alarms were manufactured 10 or more years ago, don't wait, replace them right away. Check out the video below to learn how to find the date that your smoke alarms were manufactured.
