High School Leadership Training Camp Ramah, Ojai, California (Phone 805-646-3030 / Fax 805-646-9373)

Objectives: 1. To enable student leaders to network among various high schools. 2. To build a relationship within your ASB/Leadership class. 3. To provide practical leadership training. 4. To produce personal growth as a leader and build individual confidence. 5. To identify each student’s leadership styles and discuss how to work with styles other than our own. 6. To get a better understanding of how to reach out to the student body. Cost: $150/student & advisor What to bring:  Flashlight  Sleeping bag  Casual clothes for three days  Tennis shoes  Towels, toiletries, and bug spray  Notebook, pen and pencils (and a backpack to put them in)  Bathing suit and sunscreen  Guitar, football, volleyball, Frisbee, etc. for recreation time  Heavy jacket (mornings and nights can be cold)  Money for pictures, snacks, and sodas  Seat cushion or pillow to sit on (NO beach chairs!) Make sure you know:  All participants must arrive by 9:00am on Wednesday and they must stay for the entire camp. Special circumstances must be arranged previously with your advisor.  All students must be accompanied by an advisor  No student vehicles will be allowed at the camp. If extenuating circumstances exist, prior clearance must be made through Ben Takeda ([email protected]), (805) 2891826 or (805) 377-2601 (cell) and keys must be turned in at the registration desk.  Students in the possession of, or under the influence of, drugs or alcohol will be sent home immediately without a refund.  Do NOT bring money or valuables you do not need.  Camp Ramah is a kosher camp with strict food guidelines. No food or drinks should be brought into the camp.  I cannot refund your donations after May 13th as I will have paid the camp.
