To Whom It May Concern: On behalf of the Gitga’at First Nation, please find attached our submission to the 2016 Environmental Assessment review process. In our submission we would like to stress the importance of Gitga’at decision making and consent, government to government relations and processes, and genuine consideration of First Nations capacity and need for meaningful engagement and timelines with projects. We thank you for the opportunity to provide input and be a part of this Environmental Assessment review. However, we hope there is understanding that there were many limitations within this review process for the Gitga’at First Nation, which we are happy to discuss further.
