ZOO LODGE The Zoo Lodge is a rustic stone house nestled in the woods that will accommodate approximately 50 people for a meeting or seated dinner and 85 for a reception. The patio and lawn may also be used to accommodate a larger attendance. Please note that this facility is only available for a maximum of four hours unless rented for a full day. TIME

Below is the inventory available to use: • Ten 6-foot rectangle tables • Seven 48-inch round tables • Five 60-inch round tables • 35 black plastic folding chairs • 65 brown and black metal folding chairs

• 100 white wooden folding chairs for an additional charge ($4.00 each)

TRAILS OF AFRICA The Safari Peak overlooks our Trails of Africa habitat and can accommodate up to 500 guests for a meeting, reception or seated dinner. Please note that this outdoor facility is only available after hours for a maximum of four hours. NUMBER OF GUESTS

CHILDREN’S ZOO The Children’s Zoo can accommodate as many as 1,000 people. The rental fee includes existing café tables and chairs, which seat 200, the interactive Children’s Zoo Barn with zookeeper staff (2 hour maximum), unlimited rides on the carousel and water fountain operation. Please note that this outdoor facility is only available after hours for four hours maximum. The Children’s Zoo Barn must close by 7pm. NUMBER OF GUESTS

H E N L E Y P A R K E V E N T L AW N Henley Park Event Lawn includes over 32,000 square feet of natural landscaping and space that can accommodate up to 2,500 guests. ANIMAL EXTRAS Please note that animal extras must be scheduled at least 3 weeks before an event and are subject to the availability of our Programs Department and the well-being of our animals. Animal Greeting Zookeepers will greet your guests as they arrive for 30 minutes with 1 to 2 animals. Animal Demonstration Zookeepers will host a brief wildlife show for your guests.

E X C L U S I V E C AT E R I N G GUIDELINES The following general guidelines are important to ensure your successful event at the Zoo. Please review this information carefully before planning your event. You must contact the caterer of your choice (from the below list of approved caterers) directly regarding your catering needs. Your caterer will provide and serve nonalcoholic beverages. All alcoholic beverages must be served by the Birmingham Zoo, Inc. Please note that Southern Food Service is the official caterer of the Trails of Africa facility.
