WHITE CANVAS 2016 Event Details Cosplay Theme: Halloween or Horror Cosplay has been one of the most creative and fun events at White Canvas. Students dressed-up as different fictional characters will be an absolute delight to watch. Participants will have an opportunity to showcase their costumes and every minute detail will make a difference. Rules and regulations:
Maximum of 7 participants per team
Contestants have to do their own choreography
Contestants have to bring their own music, do their own hair, makeup and costumes
No vulgarity
Note: Any team that fails to follow these rules will be disqualified. It is a unique concept of designing vehicles with waste materials such as CD-ROMs, Strings, newspapers, and much more. Rules and regulations: Maximum number of contestants is 5 per team
Contestants will be provided with the required trash materials
Time duration: 3.5 hours
Usage of cell phones are prohibited
Contestants will have a Q&A session with the judges

Sketchaholic Theme: My Future 2050 How would the world look in the year 2050? Would it have futuristic cities, cars, aircrafts, etc.? Will robots replace humans? Will our natural resources survive? Imagine the world in the year 2050 and showcase it through your art. Rules and regulations:
Sketch has to be your original piece of creation
Any kind of plagiarism will lead to disqualification
Participants are required to get the required materials
Usage of cell phones in the contest is prohibited
Contestants are not allowed to use any kind of reference
Contestants can't use any digital medium for their design
The time duration of the contest is 4 hours
Winners will be selected based on vision, design and artistic skills
Contestants will be asked questions regarding their design
Last Date for registration: 28 November 2016 Gaming – Counter Strike Counter Strike is a popular first-person shootout game where teams are divided into terrorists and counter terrorists. The aim of the game is to defeat the other team via planting and detonating the bomb or eliminating all opposition team members (for the terrorist team), defusing the bomb, or eliminating all opposition team members before the bomb has been planted (counter terrorist team). Rules and regulations:
Each team will consist of 5 members
The entry fee is INR 100 per team
It will be a knockout tournament
Each game will consist of 3 rounds – each round will have a game time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds
The team with 2 wins out of 3 will advance to the next round
Teams are allowed to bring their own equipment (restricted to mouse, mouse pad, and earphones/headsets)
Use of foul language and digression can lead to disqualification
The map and the team objectives (terrorist/ counter terrorist) will be changed in each round
In game buy in money will be 8000 for startup
Number of snipers will be restricted to one sniper per team
Riot Shield is not allowed

Ad Shoot Making an ad can be fun, participants are required to select a brand, product or service and create an ad for the same. Shoot an ad in your own way and we are here to recognize your style and humour. Rules and regulations: Maximum 8 members in a team
Language: English, Kannada or Hindi
Video duration should be of maximum 5 minutes
The video has to be brought in a scanned pen drive or hard drive, DVD or CD is not allowed.
The video have to be in MP4 format (any compression). The video quality is preferable at 1920*1080 or at least 720 resolution.
The content of the ad video has to be completely your own creation except brand logo and intro.
The ad should not have been showcased elsewhere before the submission.
No vulgarity in any form
Participants violating any rules will be disqualified
Teams will be judged on the comedy of the content
