ISSUE: Review and discuss attached excerpt from presentation by Attorney Michael C. Walter of Keating, Bucklin & McCormack Inc., P.S. He presented at City/County Planning Director’s Conference in Chelan on Sept. 13, 2012. DISCUSSION: This item is presented for ongoing Board Education on Land Use Law. Mr. Walter presented on this topic at the 2012 “Chelan Conference”. The Attachment A is taken from materials handed out for his presentation. These materials provide the board with a small sample of the world of land use litigation in Washington State. Land Use Law continues to be the most prevalent topic of municipal litigation.
