AYCES (Asperger’s Youth for Community Engagement & Socialization)

Studio2 Program Youth participate in Multimedia Programs (Photography, video and music recording).

Newcomer Youth

AYCES is a program designed for youth between the ages of 12 – 18, with a diagnosis of Asperger’s. The AYCES program encourages and helps youth develop their life and social skills, increase their self-esteem, develop peer relationships, and provide community access. LGBTQ “East Qrew” is a social, drop-in group for LGBTQ youth and allies based on interactive and educational activities. Bringing youth together in a safe and supportive environment where they can connect with others who have like experiences and feel more supported in their community. Youth Outreach Workers Focus on engaging youth ages 12-21 years old and their families, supporting them to better navigate and connect with services and supports in their communities. Is offered to youth 12-21 years old, who are permanent residents or conventional refugees and have been in Canada for 5 years of less.
