DynamicOps® Cloud Automation Center Virtual Resource Manager
A component of DynamicOps Cloud Automation Center, Virtual Resource Manager (VRM) provides automated self service delivery and management of virtual resources in a shared multi-tenant environment. Virtualization has the potential for improving service delivery while reducing capital costs. However, in order to take full advantage of this technology, enterprises must be able to manage it without having their operational costs skyrocket. VRM provides a self-service portal where virtual machines are provisioned from a pool of assigned resources using predefined policies. Automated workflow ensures that VMs are provisioned quickly, usually in minutes, without manual intervention. VRM accelerates service delivery times and reduces the operational complexities of provisioning both virtual desktops and virtual servers. Equally significant, it tracks and manages VMs throughout their lifecycle.
