DPAP Interagency Acquisition Review With regard to the interagency working group, some of the specific areas we are looking at include: (1) The impact to the DFARS on recent changes to FAR 17.502 and the somewhat recently added language on "best procurement approach"; (2) Whether or not DFARS 217.7802 should be revised; and, (3) What SHOULD our policy be on the use of non-DoD organizations, the services they provide and their contract vehicles. (4) How do we make it less complex for the DoD customer to access procurement solutions such as the community of GWACs, other strategic sourcing vehicles, the Schedules, assisted acquisition support from non-DoD agencies, etc. (5) Is it possible to have one authority (similar to the Economy Act) that allows agencies to support each other instead of the multiple authorities that exist now? Think Economy Act simplicity but even more reader friendly.
