Heavy duty applications require strong solutions: DPVCF Stainless steel hydraulics combined with fixed DIN or ANSI flanges:
Available pump range: The DPVCF pumps are available in both 50 and 60Hz and optionally with frequency converter. DPVCF 2-40

Technical specifications: Pump casing material: Cast iron GG25 (Wnr. 0.6025): DIN flange sizes:
In certain applications for which vertical pumps are used, thermal pipe expansions may occur. In other heavy duty situations the suction / discharge casing of the pump may be used as an assembly foundation. Especially for these kinds of applications, DP-Pumps has developed a vertical pump with a heavy duty pump casing: the DPVCF.

DIN: EN 1092-2 PN25 ANSI: B16.1 cl. 250
Applications: • boiler feed • marine applications • industrial applications • other high temperature applications. Advantages: • robust and solid design of pump casing, including additional strengthening ribs • additional pipe supports directly besides the pump, to relieve the pump casing from extreme forces, are no longer required • the pump hydraulics will not be affected by pipe stresses transferred to the pump casing • connection dimensions are equal to the standard DPV(S)F series • proven and durable cast iron technology • hydraulic assembly can withstand thermal shock • hydraulic assembly is interchangeable with the DPV(S)F series, which reduces the required number of spare parts in stock • sleeve O-rings (elastomers) with superior performance at more extreme temperature changes (EPDM E 425) • high pressure mechanical seal standard Carbon/Tungsten carbide with EPDM O-ring • safe deareating plug (standard). 02
Temperature range:
-15 up to + 120 °C (59 up to 248 °F)
Elastomers:
Sleeve O-ring: peroxide cured EPDM E 425 Mechanical seal O-ring: EPDM
Hydraulics:
Interchangeable with standard DPV(S)F series
In practice With heavy duty applications, design specifications may result in extreme forces on the pump casing. The drawing shows a field example. In the worst case situation dimension A is very short and dimension B is very long.
B
For example: a DPVCF 18 pump has been assembled at room temperature with A is 25 cm (10 inches) and B is 500 cm (197 inches). Once the system is heated up to 100 °C (212 °F), force F becomes more than 5000 kg (11.023 lbs), due to the pipe expansion! The new DPVCF pump is designed specially for these circumstances and is therefore capable of withstanding such forces.
