Each week - find and record 10 “good” words in your personal dictionary. Record each in the running list that begins on page 1 of your dictionary. Then record each word alphabetically in the pages of your dictionary. List 1) word, 2) part of speech, 3) definition, 4) word source, and 5) the sentence from the word source (your book/newspaper/TV program/friend, or wherever you saw/heard the word.) Take the two most challenging or interesting words and make a 3"x5" card (shown below). Personal dictionaries will be checked each Thursday. Cards may be used for daily secretary presentations.
