Moon through Activities Moon being our immediate celestial neighbour, there are a lot of things unexplored and unveiled about it. Chandrayaan – 1 provided a lot of information and Chandrayaan – 2 is expected to provide even more. At this peak time of curiosity about Moon, Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Bengaluru, will be organising a one day workshop entitled “Moon through Activities” for Science Communicators and Teachers. Interesting aspects of Moon that are learnt through naked eye observations, Telescopic studies and Lunar missions will be discussed through activities. Activities pertaining to Phases of Moon, Rotation and Revolution of Moon, Moon as a time indicator, estimating the size of craters, height of lunar mountains etc. are some of them to be discussed.
