Field Trip On Friday, October 7th, the 7th grade students will be taking a field trip to the Museum of Science in Boston. During the trip students will attend the Archeology Fair that the museum is hosting and we will also see an IMAX movie about Ancient Greece and take an audio tour of the new Pompeii exhibit. Please read the information below for more specifics on the trip: Information: • We will be leaving on the 7:00 am boat. Please be at the Vineyard Haven Steamship Authority between 6:30 and 6:45 am. • The group will come back to the island on the 5:15 pm boat, arriving in Vineyard Haven at 6:00 pm. Please be prompt when picking up your child. • The cost of entry fees and tickets will be $17.00, please have your child bring in a check (made out to the Edgartown School) or cash with the signed portion below. Students will be responsible for purchasing their own lunch at the museum; the average cost is about $10.00. Snacks: • Snacks are permitted on the boat and bus. While students can purchase snacks on the boat, I would suggest packing snacks and water to drink for both the trip up and back. Reminders: • This is a school trip, so no gum, candy, or soda is allowed. • Music can be listened to on the bus, but cannot be brought into the museum. • This is a cell phone free trip.
