The home was built by the late philanthropist Edgar Bloom Stern, businessman and cotton broker and his wife, Edith Rosenwald Stern, an heiress of the Sears department store family. We will have lunch at Porter and Luke’s. Ochsner Bus will pick up from Ochsner LaPlace at 9:00 a.m. and then pick up from Ochsner Kenner at 9:30 a.m. Cost is $ 20.00 which includes the tour, and transportation. Lunch will be on your own.
