Tenderers shall quote for items along with free consumables as detailed below: A set of consumables as under with comb/spiral binder: (i) Comb/spiral binder - small size 25 nos and large size 25 nos. (ii) Cover (Transparent) - 25 pairs sheet of polyester. (iii)Cover PVC (rigid) - 25 pairs. Technical Data as per Annexure "A" shall be submitted for each models quoted separately along with technical literature. Films which are being manufactured by reputed manufacturers in large scale units like M/s. Kodak, Garware, Jindal. The tenderer who are authorized agents/ dealers of M/s. Kodak, Garware, Jindal, DGS&D/ Defence registered supplier etc., for these items of Schedule 6 may also be quoted for award of R/C, if tenderer meets other requirements
Detailed Specification Schedule 1. Manual Document Binder Specification: - Manually operated plastic Comb/Spiral document binders with selective punching facility i.e. dis engaging and engage any or all the keys/Punches with margin control and adjustable scales. Manually operated document binders but without overload protection device. Document binders shall meet the following requirements: Punching blades High carbon steel blades. Maximum binding thickness: 50 mm. Punching speed: 4000 sheets / hour. Chip tray to collect the wastes. Alignment scales to enable the alignment and guide the side & punched margin of the papers. Machine shall have necessary protective features for safe operation. Machine shall have binding margin control facility. Machine shall have gravity feed table to ensure proper feeding of paper. Transparent laminating sheet in 125,175and 250 microns of polyester as applicable. PVC rigid sheets of 250 microns thickness having one side plain and other side grain. Leatherette of 250 GSM of pulp board with grains on both sides. Body of the Binder should be Aluminum die cast steel. Schedule 2. Electrical, Document Binder Specification :Electrically operated plastic Comb/Spiral document binders with selective punching facility i.e. Disengage and Engage any or all the keys / Punches with margin control and adjustable scales. Electrically operated document binders with overload protection device and to operate on 230V +/- 10% ., 50 HZ AC supply. Document binders shall meet the following requirements: Punching blades made out from High carbon steel blades. Punching capacity: 15 sheets/ 35 Sheets of 70 GSM papers at a time for electrically Operated Comb Binders. Maximum binding thickness: 50 mm. Punching speed: 4000 sheets/ hour. Chip tray to collect the wastes. Alignment scale to enable the alignment and guide the side & punch margin of the papers. Machine shall have necessary protective features for safe operation. Machine shall have binding margin control facility. Machine shall have gravity feed table to ensure proper feeding of paper. The self sharpening punches shall be of tool steel duly harden/tempered for longer life. Transparent laminating sheet in 125,175and 250 microns thickness of polyester as applicable.

All electrically operated document binders shall conform to safety requirements as per IS:302 ( Part 1/ 1979 with amdts. 1 to 7) Body of the Binder should be Aluminum die cast steel. Schedule 3. Electrically Operated Thermal Document Binder Specification: Electrically operated Thermal document binder suitable for papers and Computer Print outs of following sizes and to operate on 230V +/- 10%, 50 HZ AC supply having binding facility for pages up to 425 with provision for binding report of pages 2 to 25 sheets also with electronic process control for continuous use with automatic warm up facility, process display signal and cut off. In addition to above the binders shall meet the following requirements: Maximum Binding Length: 450 mm Heater shall be 400 W strip heaters with PCB temperature control to adjust the film thickness. Main body should have Aluminum die cast with MS steel covers. Schedule4. Pouch Laminating Machine (Desktop) Specification: Pouch laminating machine (Desktop) with operating temperature 140 Degree C suitable for operation on 230V or 240V Single Phase, 50 HZ. A C supply. Schedule5. Hot Laminating Machines Specification: Hot laminating machines with operating temperature range up to 160 Degree C suitable for operation on 230V or 240V, 1 Phase, 50 HZ. A C supply. 6 Schedule Laminating Films Specification: Laminating film suitable for Pouch laminating and Hot laminating machines of various sizes. GENERAL TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT:1. Tenderers shall submit technical compliance statement for each item quoted by them with respect to tender enquiry specification, indicating clause by clause compliance, Deviations, if any, shall be clearly brought out giving justification for the same. 2. All machines shall be suitable for operation on 230+/-10% V, 50 Hz A.C. supply. 3. The firm shall furnish environmental test report from any Government approved laboratory during inspection and registration. 4. Acceptance test facilities to be available at the place of Inspection.
i) Verification of all features/functional performance of the Machine. ii) Working of the machine at rated voltage +/-10%. iii) Endurance test - The machine shall be run continuously for 2 hours with load at rated voltage and should run smoothly without any abnormal sound and other visual deterioration. 5. Tenderers may offer their standard models against the specifications mentioned in the schedule. They should furnish make, model etc. duly supported by technical catalogues/ literatures.
