Director - Wellington Psychology Clinic School of Psychology Wellington Massey University's Psychology Clinic in Wellington is looking for a Director who will have direct responsibility for the clinic which offers private psychology services to the greater Wellington region. This includes the initiation, procurement and maintenance of research and service relationships and contracts. The clinic is a training facility and has an essential role in supporting the School of Psychology's clinical psychology training programme. Familiarity with cognitive-behaviourally orientated assessment and treatment approaches is essential. As part of Massey University's commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi, the School of Psychology incorporates a bi-cultural focus into its programmes and practice. You will be a practicing senior Psychologist with a recognised Postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification, and ideally over eight years of practice experience. You will be registered (or eligible to register) with the New Zealand Psychologists Board, have a valid Annual Practice Certificate, and be eligible for registration under the Clinical Scope. Demonstrated leadership skills and management experience is essential. The role of the Director involves the following: • • • •

Management of staff and the administration of the clinic as a centre of excellence The design and implementation of clinical services to a selected range of clients The facilitation and management of the applied practice research Direct supervision of Clinical Psychology placement students and interns
