Consent Calendar (Nancy Patton) a. Approval of the October 12, 2016 WDB meeting minutes *Vote* After verification of a quorum the October 12, 2016 WDB meeting minutes were unanimously approved.

Election of Officers (Rusty Shawley) Rusty reviewed the candidates nominated to serve as the 2017 WDB officers and opened the floor to additional nominations. With no additional nominations presented the WDB unanimously voted to appoint Eric Lea and Mike O’Connell as Co-Chairs and Nancy Patton as Secretary/Treasurer. The position of Chair-Elect will remain vacant at this time. If you are a private sector WDB member and would like to serve as Chair-elect please see Joni, Jacob or any member of the executive committee.

MOU Review *Vote* (Joni Friedman) a. Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) MOU The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is designed to strengthen the workforce development system. Under WIOA the Larimer County Workforce Development Board has ten required MOUs. The purpose of the MOUs is to encourage collaboration between organizations and to provide a framework for the delivery of services. Joni Friedman reviewed and answered questions on the TANF MOU. The MOU was unanimously approved as presented. Joni thanked the WDB for their dedication in reviewing all the MOUs required under WIOA.

A Workforce Carol: The Ghosts of Workforce Past, Present, and Future a. Ghost of Workforce Past played by Nancy Patton and Jerry Thurber b. Ghost of Workforce Present played by Gen Ponce-Pore c. Ghost of Workforce Future played by Mike O’Connell and Eric Lea Talented WDB cast members portrayed ghosts of workforce past, present and future. In the past the Workforce Center operated under different legislation. The hot jobs from 1997 were personal and home health aides, systems analysts and computer engineers: The Ghost of Workforce Present discussed the transition from the Workforce Investment Board to the Workforce Development Board and implementation of WIOA. The Ghost of Workforce Future reviewed the WDB vision of data driven initiatives. The hot jobs predicted for 2047 include: issue engineers, gene programmers, and pharmers. Holiday Celebration
