ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING MINUTES OF MEETING DECEMBER 8, 2015 GALLOPING HILLS GOLF CLUB, KENILWORTH NJ The Annual Meeting of the Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by ACCNJ Chief Executive Officer Jack Kocsis.

ACCNJ BUSINESS: Mr. Kocsis welcomed members and guests. Mr. Kocsis stated, in accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws, nomination of Officers and of members of the Board of Trustees are made by a Nominating Committee, appointed by the Chair. Mr. Kocsis said Chair Mark Hall appointed the Executive Committee to act in the capacity of the Nominating Committee, who delivered a list of the nominees on November 2, 2015. Mr. Kocsis reported the list was mailed to all active members in good standing on November 16, 2015. Mr. Kocsis stated since no vacancies have occurred between the date of nomination and the date of this election and since there have been no additional nominations made by petition, active members in good standing and present at this annual meeting vote on the proposed slate of officers and trustees, effective January 1, 2016, as distributed. A motion was made by R. Polisano, seconded by R. Epifano and unanimously approved to accept the slate as presented.

RECOGNITION OF OUTGOING CHAIR: Mr. Kocsis then proceeded to recognize the outgoing Chairman of the Board, Mark Hall, who served as the Association’s first Chair following the merger of AGC of New Jersey and Building Contractors Association of New Jersey. After sharing Mr. Hall’s active participation in BCANJ, AGC of America, and multi-employer benefit funds, Mr. Kocsis noted Mr. Hall had been extremely helpful and encouraging in bringing the two groups together. Mr. Kocsis said Mark always demonstrated a positive attitude, sharing his thoughts and ideas. Despite his dedication to his own business, Mr. Kocsis complimented Mr. Hall for all the time he gave to help the Association and to address industry issues. As he presented a plaque of recognition to Mr. Hall, Mr. Kocsis concluded that because of Mr. Hall’s leadership, the framework has been established for the Association to continue to grow and prosper. Mr. Hall responded briefly with his thanks and recognized the staff for their commitment. Mr. Kocsis then introduced Al Daloisio as the incoming Chair, who told the group he was “filling big shoes” in succeeding Mr. Hall. Mr. Daloisio also thanked the staff.

2015 ACTIVITIES and 2016 INITIATIVES: Mr. Kocsis briefly reviewed the activities of the Association in 2015, including labor relations and contracts negotiated, lobbying efforts, and workforce development and safety events. Remarking that 2015 held “interesting challenges,” Mr. Kocsis discussed the Association’s active involvement in resolving the Transportation Trust Fund’s funding issues and in establishing a standard bid form and statute moving forward. He noted “some growing pains” but affirmed the Association is “running on all cylinders” as we enter 2016. He thanked the membership for its support and invited all comments and thoughts.

SCHOLARSHIP RAFFLE: Mr. Kocsis then turned the meeting over to Darlene Regina, Chief Operating Officer, who thanked the sponsors who donated gift baskets and supporters who purchased tickets in the raffle. Ms. Regina said all proceeds help fund the ACCNJ Scholarship Foundation’s annual scholarships. JK:dar
