Chetna joined CUTS International in July, 2019 as Research Associate. She was awarded her post-graduation degree in Economics from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur in 2016.
Chetna has a research experience of more than 2 years in the field of Startups, Ease of Doing Business and policy research on farmer distress, higher education, Local bodies and governance at state and central level. She has done internship at Ernst & Young LLP, State Finance Commission of Rajasthan under the Chairperson, Dr. JyotiKiran and CUTS International, Jaipur.
Experience & Skills Research Assistant at NITI Aayog Chair, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur (August, 2016 - July, 2019) She was associated with the following research projects and worked under the supervision of Prof. Vijay Vir Singh (Professor of Economics, University of Rajasthan and Director, NITI Aayog Chair) 1. ‘Doubling Farmer’s Income in Rajasthan’ funded by NITI Aayog, New Dehi. 2. ‘’Employability of Higher Education Graduates in India’’ by Centre for Policy Research in Higher Education, NIEPA, New Delhi. 3. MOU signed between the Rajasthan State Finance Commission and Director, NITI Aayog Chair, Jaipur for a study on Local bodies of Rajasthan.
