Manufacturing is more than just putting parts together. It’s coming up with ideas, testing principles and perfecting the engineering. —James Dyson, industrial designer and founder of Dyson Vacuum Cleaner Company

What is Applied Technology Advanced Processes?

Manufacturing—whether it’s an automobile, surgical instrument or defense equipment—is the sum total of many Advanced Processes. In the digital era, the fixtures, molds and dies that make the parts that become the product are the result of Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and Computer Numerical Control (CNC). It’s Advanced Manufacturing and it is driven toward perfection by the latest technology.
