Workshop on Ruby Date: April 3-5, 2015

Subhrajit Debnath (Research Engineer) and Chaitanya Kanth (Research Engineer) from CSTEP attended a workshop titled Ruby Conf India, 2015 in Goa, organised by a group of individuals on a non-profit basis. The workshop focussed on ‘Ruby’ and ‘Rail’. The workshop was attended by programmers, developers and enthusiasts. It is a three day international conference, which included talks from members of the Ruby core team and other developers.
Ruby is a programming language that is widely used in application development. This workshop was aimed at providing the participants exposure to the latest techniques and developments happening in this domain.
CSTEP uses Ruby in developing most of its web-based applications. This workshop provided the participants useful insights in this area, which will be used for application development.
