More than 30 years ago, I asked Catholics to support an Annual Appeal that would help us provide crucial ministries and services throughout our 12-county Diocese of Rochester – ministries that affect nearly every Catholic family in some way. Each year, thousands of families and individuals have responded in good stewardship and great generosity.

2011/2012 Catholic Ministries Appeal Report

The Catholic Ministries Appeal funds

over half of the $10 million budget of the Diocese of Rochester – money that is used to maintain the vitality of programs, services and ministries that help Catholics across our 12 counties. We are pleased to report that more than 31,000 donors pledged nearly $5.35 million to the 2011/2012 CMA. The average household generously contributed $170 to the campaign, and our total represents the most money ever raised in the 32-year history of our annual appeal. Your gifts are making a difference every day!
