ABHES BULLETIN August 20, 2013 The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) appreciates the outpouring of support from the ABHES community following the announcement of Chris Eaton’s recent passing. Many of you have emailed and called staff with wonderful messages of support and sentiments about Chris. We are so very grateful for your words of encouragement and the many recollections of your time and communications with Chris. He obviously left an indelible imprint on everyone who knew him. We understand from Chris’ family that they are planning a memorial service in early September. Once the arrangements are confirmed, we will provide that information. Condolences to Chris’ family may be sent to his mother as follows: Mrs. Betty Eaton 2807 Evelyn Court Vienna, Virginia 22180 We understand that while Mrs. Eaton will be delighted to receive cards or other expressions of support from Chris’ many friends and colleagues, she requests flowers not be sent. ABHES will host a Celebration of Life in memory of Chris at its annual conference in February. Also a scholarship in Chris’ name is being planned.
