Simple Setout! Please start using your new recycling cart immediately!

Recyclables may now be mixed together in one cart that is serviced EVERY week!

Remember to place cart out prior to 6am on your service day. Cart must be placed at the front of your property with wheels facing your home. Take care not to place cart too close to obstacles such as parked cars, fire hydrants, and low-hanging tree branches. If possible, leave 2 feet of space on either side of your cart to allow the automated truck arm enough room to operate.

Also, don’t forget... • Do not overload your cart—make sure the lid fully closes. • Avoid tightly wedging or compacting materials inside your cart. is will help ensure that all materials get emptied. • Before placing shredded paper in the recycling cart, please contain it inside a paper bag and seal with a staple.

Questions? We Have Answers! Q: When will my new organics and garbage carts arrive? A: Expect delivery of your new organics cart on your regular service day between September 1st & 14th. Your new garbage cart will arrive on your last service day in September.

Q: Do I have to use the new cart? A: Yes. Mission Trail Waste Systems provides automated service using trucks fitted with robotic arms to empty carts. We cannot service other types of collection containers.

Q: What do I do with my old recycling tubs? A: Keep them for another use or place them inside your new blue cart and we’ll recycle them.

Q: Is anything changing in terms of what I can recycle? A: Yes. Please refer to the backside of this notice. www.MissionTrail.com 650.473.1400
