10/18/17 Art Class This story is about Tory, who is a nine year old boy. Tory goes to Franklin Elementary School, and is in the fourth grade and he lives in New Orleans with his mom and dad. Tory has ten friends in his school and eight friends in his class, and two in different classes. Tory, who more than anything wants to be an artist. He wants to be an awesome artist! He wants to show all of his friends that he is the best artist in his class! Tory loves to paint awesome pictures of monkeys and apes. Tory wants to join a special art club that meets on the weekends, but can’t! He does not have enough money to pay for the lass, nor for the materials he needs for the class, like paint and posters. So, he earns money by helping people out. He earns money by mowing lawns, making dogs and washing dishes at his house. When he was done with his chores he felt like taking a nap. He was so sore! Once he earns $500.00 he will be able to join the class. Finally, after many weeks he reached his goal. Then, he went to Walmart to by a poster and some paint. The rest of the money went towards the cost of the class. When he drew a beautiful park he added monkeys and apes. He showed it to his class and it was the best picture ever! The teacher was amazed and hung the picture in front of the classroom so everyone could see his awesome! He was very proud of his work! He learned how to be a hard worker and never give up on his dreams.
