You will evaluate business processes, anticipate/gather requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and propose/implement solutions. In addition, you will identify business intelligence, reporting and data analysis requirements for UK Biobank. You will have a degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science or related field and a minimum of 8 years working in a business analyst role. You will apply your skills and energy for the greater good. To succeed in this role you will need the following skills: ESSENTIAL CRITERIA 1. B.S. degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science or related field. 2. A minimum of 8 years’ experience in business analysis. 3. The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions. 4. Exceptional analytical, conceptual thinking and problem solving abilities. 5. Proficient in the full software development lifecycle. 6. Experience working on complex and business critical systems. 7. Ability to communicate both written and orally, clearly and persuasively, explaining complicated matters simply, tailoring delivery methods/media to suit the audience’s needs and understanding. DESIRABLE CRITERIA 1. Strong biotech, pharmaceutical or life sciences industry expertise and leadership. 2. Knowledge/experience of standardized quality control pipelines for ensuring data quality, provenance and integrity.
