Student Learning Outcomes BUS 050 PRINCIPLES OF MANAGEMENT
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1 Access the qualifications needed for a supervisor, which will include the POEM (Plan, Organize, Execute, and Measure) work and the three Ps of management (Power, Position, and Politics), and discuss the analysis through constructive critique. 2 Identify the use of effective and efficient leadership styles by analyzing the leaders POEM strategy. 3 Assess and analyze their own capabilities using real world case scenarios to gain an understanding of what is required to gain employment in this field. Identify the challenges and opportunities of being a manager in todays high tech global economy.
