Student Learning Outcomes BUS 001B MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1 Explain and employ fundamental managerial accounting concepts and principles that aid in decision making, performance evaluation, planning, and cost control. 2 Compare, contrast, and implement alternative costing systems. 3 Explain and employ cost-volume-profit analysis, degree of operating leverage, and safety margins as analytical tools.
4 Prepare and analyze various financial reports on costs behavior, budgeting, capital investments and reports related to responsibility centers.
