Join us as local home brewer’s sample their finest offerings! General Admission Tickets are just $15 in advance & include open sampling & a souvenir glass!
Changes This Year: - The adjacent Concourse of Union Station will host the event this year. -
Why? To accommodate more brewers & guests and to create a more enjoyable atmosphere. The event will transition from a “competition” to a “festival”. There will still be voting by the general public to determine “People’s Choice”, but there will no longer be a judge’s panel. Why? Several reasons, actually. They range from sheer logistics to other similar judging events popping up. But we’ll go with a simple explanation: It’s in the best interest of the movement that craft beer be enjoyed & celebrated, not judged or critiqued. We hope you agree.

All brewers must register their beer(s) by Monday, February 13, 2012. A $20 deposit per brewer is due at the time of registering to secure a table. (Your deposit will be returned in full the day of the event in addition to a $20 Gift Card for participating) Fee allows multiple entries at the discretion of the brewer. A minimum of 5 gallons or 2 cases must be submitted per entry for sampling. An original or clone recipe detailing your process & ingredients must be included. All submissions must be home made using grain, partial grain or extract. “People’s Choice” awards will be given to the brewers with the most votes from the public.
The Brewerie Will Supply: - Tables - Ice -Glassware -Pitchers of Water for Rinsing What You Should Bring: - Beer for Sampling - Another person to help you pour & staff your table - A tub or cooler to store your product. - Any additional information about you or your beer for the public. - People. (The People’s Choice is voted on by them! It can’t hurt.)
