Snow cones, ice cream, etc. 618- Poor service. 630- Beach vendor takes away the beauty of the beach. 636- Don’t see the need or advantage of beach vendor. 648- Motorized carts, AV vehicles on the beach-including the lifeguards!!! Are annoying and unnecessary! All the silly carts and trucks for the lifeguards are just a waste of tax dollars! Whatever happened to “walking to the beach?” 655- Get rid of them – especially driving on the beach- noisy and smelly and the items are bad. This isn’t Dewey. I hate those vehicles on the beach. 666- I have been a homeowner since 1991 and Melvo’s Snowball truck has been a part of summers in SB- It’s a shame that a vendor that has supplied such a reliable product for so many years has been cut out of the summer experience. 686- Have not seen beach vendor on beach. 697- Bring back the original snowball vendor – that was a bad political deal!

712- Beach vending is way overpriced. The offering is fine but too pricey. They sell cookies and rice krispie treats for a dollar and they purchase them at BJs or Costco! 715- Beach vendor is not necessary! 726- My kids want the snowball guy!! It was unfair that we gave exclusively to the vendor on our beach. 736- Vehicles drive too close to people on the beach – not safe for small children – should be back by the fence or not at all. 755- We would like to see the snowball truck allowed to stop at our beach access area again! 756- Not needed. 757- Fees too high. 758- Too expensive. 775- I liked it the way it was before beach vendor. 779- We support the snowball company used in previous years, Melvo. Bring them back. 788- The beach vendor either travels too fast or sits in one spot for long periods of time. Their supply of merchandise runs out prior to the 5 p.m. whistle blowing. Very dissatisfied. Enjoyed it much better when the Snowball Man came around. Consider a vendor stationary at various areas on the beach. 794- We miss Melvo’s snow cone truck! We want him back! 798- Don’t know about them. 805- Infrequent, limited contents. Preferred Melvo. 817- No vendor should be allowed on the beach. 827- Have always been opposed to all vending on the beach and the streets. 833- People that come to our beach have their own things. I do not like the “huts” for renting chairs and umbrellas – it’s becoming too commercialized – those people can go to Rehoboth. 847- We are extremely unhappy that there are motorized vendors on the beach. They are ugly and ruin the natural beauty of the beach – the very reason we enjoy it. 853- The vendor has poor quality food and is not adequately staffed with sales type individuals. They just ride up and down the beach and if they run into you they will stop.
