SUBJECT:

Addendum #1 – Bid #18000028 - “Replace Water Pollution Control Blower Digester Building Roofs” Due Thursday, November 16, 2017 @ 3:00 p.m. (EST)

THE BID DUE DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL WED., NOVEMBER 22, 2017 @ 3:00 pm (EST) This addendum has been issued pursuant to questions generated in the pre-bid meeting of 11/8/17. The addendum further defines and clarifies the scope/specifications detail information for some items listed in the original bid documents. This “Addendum #1” shall serve as additional scope of performance to the original documents and shall now be considered as part of the total bid requirements and all supportive documentation. 1. Only the stone portion of the Digester Building roof is being removed and replaced (as per the attached image). 2. All under-membrane insulation shall be 2” Duro-Guard® ISO II flat and tapered interlocking panels or approved equal or exceeding specification. New roof system may be securely glued to roof deck in a manner and with adhesive consistent with the manufacturer’s installation specification and warranty. 3. All cement block wall coping cap pieces will be removed and disposed of off-site in a safe and legal manner. 4. Replacement roof membrane will continue and wrap seamlessly over wall as a coping edge where cement block has been removed and terminated with the appropriate metal finish drip edge screwed to building exterior. 5. As an additional option to the stone section of roof replacement on the building, a separate line item cost may be added to the base bid for the replacement of the curved rubber membrane gutter transition from the edge of the northeastern most tank and the connecting flat portion section of the adjacent building roof which is not receiving an new flat roof membrane. This should be accomplished by loosening the metal terminating edge retainer on the tank roof, removing the old membrane, and replacing with a new rubber gutter membrane in its place. This new membrane will wrap up and over the edge of the

adjacent flat roof wall forming a seamless coping before being terminated and refastened to the flat roof.

All other existing documents, terms and conditions in this bid remain in effect. Any additional questions regarding the proposal process may be addressed to this office.
