This addendum has been issued pursuant to dialog generated from the pre-bid site meeting of Thursday, March 10, 2016 @ 10:00 a.m. The additional documents attached to this addendum are to provide an up-dated “Bid Form” and correction to drawings. All other existing documents, terms and conditions of this proposal remain in effect. The City of Flint does have an R-12 Prevailing Wage Ordinance and the subsequent awarded contractor may be required to supply a certified payroll if audited. Any additional concerns regarding the bidding process may be addressed to my office. Thank you.

Bid Due Date: March 17, 2016 @ 3:00PM Sealed bids, two copies, with bond information are to be submitted to the above address by the time and date listed. Bids received after the Due Date and Time will not be considered. Pursuant to notices given, the undersigned proposes to furnish all materials and labor necessary to complete the replacement as described below and in strict accordance to the plans and specifications dated 2-17-16. I, the undersigned, having familiarized myself with the attached Contract Documents do hereby propose to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, drayage, tolls, supervision, etc. and to complete all work as specified in these Documents and Specifications. By my submission of this Bidding Proposal I acknowledge the receipt of the Package containing the following: General Conditions & Requirements, General Instructions to Bidders, Detailed Specifications, Detailed Rooftop Diagrams, and Detailed Specification Drawings. To provide supervision, labor, materials and equipment for roof repairs of the following items, per the attached:
Base Bid #1:
City of Flint – Brennan Comm. Center (Section A & D) The base bid shall include the removal of the existing membrane down to the metal deck. Mechanically fasten new insulation and recovery per specifications. New roof system is to consist of a 2-Ply SBS modified membrane system installed per the attached specifications. A flood coat and gravel of cold applied, flood-coat with gravel is to be applied above roofing system at specified rate. New metal edge and counter flashing will be installed at the perimeter. This shall include all necessary flashings, copings, pitch pockets, and necessary materials in accordance with the specifications, scope of work, and details provided in the bid documents. Work is to be completed by May 31, 2016. All labor, materials, services and equipment necessary for completion of the work shown on the drawings and in the specifications. DOLLARS ($

Addendum 1. Drawing Revision – Section A & D have been clearly defined. 2. Section A & D – Existing metal sill flashing to be achored and reused. New metal edge to match existing mill finish 3. New composite pipe supports throughout. 4. Crickets to be installed between drain locations. 5. A new expansion is to be installed as shown in the roof details at the transition between Section A and the adjacent canopy/walk-way roof. (approx. 15’)
