The total due for the period Monday 3 November to Friday 19 December is £70.00. Please ensure that payment is made in advance either on Schoolcomms or paid by cheque, made payable to ‘Raglan Primary School’ with your child’s name and class on the back. This was due on the first day back after half term.

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY As always here at Raglan, we will be remembering all the Service men and women who fought so bravely and we will be thanking those who are still fighting for our country in a school assembly. We rd will help to raise money in their support by selling poppies at school, week commencing 3 November (also available are a very limited number of wristbands, pencils and other items for a minimum donation of £1 from the school office.) Please read on to the end of this newsletter for news of the Raglan Centenary Commemorations.

PHOTOGRAPHS In accordance with the school safeguarding policy we would like to remind you that taking photographs on school premises is not permitted.

CROSS COUNTRY nd

The Autumn Crystal Palace Cross Country Competition will take place on Saturday 22 November. Any child in Years 3, 4, 5 or 6 is welcome to take part. Letters will be available after half term for any child wishing to compete.

EXCELLENT 11+ RESULTS I would like to send my congratulations to the year 6 pupils who did so well with their 11+ tests – Raglan is very proud of you.

ACTING ACHIEVEMENT Well done to Ivy Morris-Pratt who has been cast in Made in Dagenham which is being performed at the Adelphi Theatre London. How exciting for Ivy and her family.

RAGLAN’S CENTENARY COMMEMORATIONS As part of Raglan’s Centenary Commemorations of the start of World War I, we are trying to find out more about the former pupils and staff who died during the war.
