1 Background The meteoric growth of mobile phones and tablets, particularly the iPhone and iPad has seen them become essential tools in the workplace. This has led to an increasing need for IT staff to support such devices. This new and increasing demand for expertise and integration skills is creating the need for Apple iOS and integration training. Whilst this has been happening, the Apple training market has undergone considerable change in recent years and months, effectively removing many of the Apple training courses. Keen to facilitate the availability of suitable training courses and materials, Amsys - the leading AATC in Europe - has pioneered a simple and flexible arrangement for the licensing of it’s training content to AATC’s
2 Licensing Partnering Opportunities Amsys has created an opportunity that allows AATC’s to concentrate their efforts on what they do best delivering training - rather than becoming mired in the costly and time consuming process of developing course material. How It Works The Amsys Training Partner (ATP) scheme is very simple. A training company that wishes to become an ATP simply makes an application by email. If you are an AATC then you automatically qualify and have sufficient expertise to deliver an extended range of courses. You pay a single annual membership fee, which gives you access to courses and the support package, and then pay a small fee for the courses you choose to add to your range. Details of individual courses and fees are at the end of the proposal. Membership – What you get. The membership fee entitles you to join the ATP scheme. The low annual membership fee covers: •
Administration and Account Management. A dedicated point of contact to support you from a business perspective.

Access to course material. Individual course fees are a low one off annual licence payment and there are no per-seat charges that require time consuming audit.

Download and print materials, as you require, as often as you need. There is no requirement to order training material ahead of courses and keep a stock. Materials can be branded with your own logo.

Direct Technical Support. Your nominated trainers will have direct access to the trainers that have written and delivered the courses. They will be available to answer any technical issues you may have whilst setting up the sessions, delivering the labs etc.

Trainer Forum. A monthly trainer forum is held for trainers to discuss course issues, get tips etc.
•
Course Participation. If you want your trainer to attend a live course before delivery, then places on Amsys courses are available at one of our locations at 75% discount to ATPs for the courses that have been chosen.
The cost of the membership fee is currently £975 for all of the above

3 The Training Courses Amsys courses are the perfect accompaniment for the training you currently sell, and can help differentiate you as a total solutions provider. The high-profile Amsys brand will help you generate sales because your customers can be reassured of a quality-training course created by Amsys and delivered by you. Courses are available in the following categories: iOS IT Courses
iOS IT courses are aimed at technical professionals who need to support, install, deploy and secure IOS devices in a corporate environment. Trainers should be IT ACT at a level to teach Support Essentials as a minimum. Courses are either one or two days long. iOS App Development Courses
App development courses teach aspiring App developers to get started and further their knowledge of Objective C and then use the SDK to develop iOS apps. Trainers should be experienced developers and expert with the necessary programming languages. Courses range from the introductory one day course to the full 5 day SDK developers course. OS X Courses
OS X courses are aimed at technical professionals who will deploy, integrate and manage Macs in corporate networks. Courses range from beginner’s courses, to Apple’s integration and management basic courses to technical conversion for experienced Windows support professionals. The instructor should be at ACT level for Mac OS Support Essentials. Advanced OS and Cross-Platform
Advanced courses are for experienced technical professionals and focus on skills necessary to integrate, deploy and manage Macs in corporate networks. Instructors should be ACT and be qualified to deliver Mac OS Server Essentials. The following table shows the current course list, the UK price per delegate course price (what Amsys sells the course to customers for) and the annual licence fee for the course material. Bespoke Licence Package
If you are looking at 2 or more courses to licence, we will put together a bespoke package price for you that includes the membership fee and course licence fee. Bespoke packages that include the licence fee can be provided for 2 or more courses. Sample Stats and earning potential available upon request.

5 Certification In the absence of official Apple certification, Amsys is currently in the process of getting courses accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS). Courses will have exams that can be purchased online and will earn BCS accredited certificates. Full details will be delivered to member ATPs as they become available. AATCs will also have the ability to become BCS Accredited Training Centres. BCS has a number of initiatives that will help centres promote and sell courses.
