A license in the Town of Arnprior is valid from January 1st to December 31st of a particular year. A license must be renewed on or before January 31st of the next year. Required approvals MUST be obtained before purchasing the license. All approvals should be attached to this application form. Important Notes:
A business may only operate from a specified location on private property in an area described in the Zoning By-law 4990-01, as amended, that permits such commercial use. Site plan approval from the Town Planner MUST be obtained before purchasing the license. If vending at a particular location or on private property, a written approval must be obtained from the owners of such property. In order to issue a business license, a copy of the business’ liability insurance must be provided to the Town of Arnprior. If applicable, a copy of the TSSA Certified Propane Fitter Inspection must be provided to the Town of Arnprior. A copy of this business license application must be returned to the Town of Arnprior.
