Student Learning Outcomes ANTHR 001L PHYSICAL ANTHROPOLOGY LABORATORY
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1 Utilize tools and methodologies of physical anthropology to analyze, identify, and classify members of the primate order. 2 Utilize tools and methodologies of physical anthropology to analyze, identify, and classify fossil hominids. 3 Apply the principles of modern genetics to problems and issues in human evolution.
4 The ability to identify human bones to demonstrate an understanding of such course topics as functional anatomy, primate locomotion, the fossil record for hominid evolution, and human biological diversity.
